You can read the eBooks on your computer, phone, iPad, Android tablet, or your Kindle. In order to read eBook's on these devices you will need to get the free App. Here are some videos to help you get started.
Reference e-Books (non-fiction)
Alter currently subscribes to the Gale E-books which hosts hundreds of reference e-Books. These eBooks are all granted simultaneous user access, meaning that more than one student at a time can be viewing an eBook. These e-Books function much like a website and students will click on a book and open it up directly on their computer or smart phone (these cannot be transferred to e-Readers).
To access the Gale E-books from home you will need to have access to the usernames and passwords. These are located in the student planner or can be found by visiting the Library.
